Anime North Preview: Fire Girl Weekend!     Thursday, May 24, 2012 @ 04:31pm I have two new costumes for Anime North this weekend: Sailor Mars from the first season of Sailor Moon and Katniss from The Hunger Games. :) ( Preview photos and some info. ) Since it's going to be super hot this weekend, I'm not sure how long I'll be cosplaying for. I'd rather be comfortable than overheat, so there's a good chance I'll be wandering around in street clothes. I learned my lesson about overheating when I wore Robin two years ago (practically full-body spandex + layer of skin-tight bridal satin + two layers of think bridal satin cape that's black + 30 degrees + direct sunlight = how to cook a Pan). Also, I'm thinking of taking my Videl costume from last year because it's basically shorts and a t-shirt and it's super comfy. Anyway, I hope to see a lot of you this weekend! Cosplay Site Relaunch     Monday, May 7, 2012 @ 03:50pm I finally relaunched my cosplay website. :D I am thrilled with how it came out! The previous version was difficult to navigate, so this update is long overdue. I've cleaned up everything and added lots of new content that was never on the old site. Whoo! Also, if any of you have a cosplay-related website you'd like me to add to the links section, let me know. :) ( On the old LELOLA anime site that remains archived... ) Also, for the record, next month will be the 15th(!) anniversary of my website. The Happy in Halloween     Tuesday, November 1, 2011 @ 11:15am Just a quick shout out to tamajiro, stray_wind, t_toast, mai_sheri, yavarice, sokonau, and stillvisions who surprised me by showing up at my door last night to wish me a Happy Halloween! I spent the evening studying for my psych midterm and was pretty bummed about missing all the festivities. It was on course to be one of the worst Halloweens ever and you guys totally turned it around. Thank you so much! ♥♥♥ And thank you for the Gengar jack-o-lantern! X3 [4] listening
